The Spalding Cup is a weeklong tournament that takes place in Montreal (July 9-16th). During this tournament, Team NCAFA will take on Quebec All-Star teams as well as other provinces. The winning team can be considered the Canadian U-15 National Champions. In 2016, Team Nova Scotia won the tournament.

Inaugurated more than 15 years ago, formerly know as the Wilson Challenge, the Spalding Cup is Canada’s largest elite football tournament., bringing together the best under-15 players from the Eastern Province of the country.

This tournament will also be used by the Ontario Football Alliance to identify players for future Team Ontario teams. For Quebec residents this tournament is used by Football Quebec to identify players for future Team Quebec teams.

The tournament announces an all-star team and those players gain valuable exposure to CEGEP and University recruiters.

Team NCAFA will play 3 games.

in 2018 NCAFA expects to also enter a U-17 team.

Age and Eligibility :

Players must have been born in 2003,2004 or 2005, and you must have been registered with a NCAFA team during the 2016 season.

Fees : Selection camp is a non-refundable $50.00 fee. This covers the selection camp and includes a souvenir t-shirt.
